This is documentation on how to use SMMware's REST API.

First, set a username and obtain an API Key in SMMware. 

To do so, in SMMware, go to Admin->REST API. Your account will have to have at least Admin level permissions.

Authentication: Basic
Messages sent to SMMware's REST API must include a BASIC Authentication header using the username and API key provided by the interface in SMMware.

See the other files in this package for details on the various commands supported by the SMMware REST API.

Each file contains information about
- URL Path 
- Filters options (when applicable)
- Required permissions
- For information uploads, there is example JSON, plus a second copy of JSON annotated with field info.
